Citrus sinensis (sweet orange) is extracted via cold expression of the skin of the fruit.  This refreshing top note promotes creativity and communication and may be inhaled for nervous tension and stress.  Externally orange oil is indicated for disinfection and skin care.  This sugary, sweet citrus aroma blends well with other citrus essences, clary sage, frankincense and patchouli.  To minimise degradation due to oxidation it is recommended that orange essential oil be stored refrigerated at 2-8degC in a dark, air-tight container.
