Pelargonium graveolens has a delightful green, floral, sweet, uplifting scent.  This oil has the same scientific name as geranium.  They are different varieties of the same plant species but both plants are botanically different.  They both have similar properties but you might find you prefer the fragrance of one more than the other.  Rose geranium is indicated for all conditions of the woman's reproductive system as an inhalant and for massage application.  It is also indicated for nervous system related conditions including anxiety, agitation and nervous fatigue. Rose geranium blends well with citrus essences, cedarwood, clary sage, other floral essences, frankincense, sandalwood and vanilla.  There are no reports of contraindications or side effects when this essential oil is used properly.
