Citrus reticulata is a top note with a sweet, sparking citrus aroma.  It smells like what it is, clean and fresh like all of the pure citrus essential oils.  Tangerine is expressed from the fruit peel.  It blends well with bergamot, clary sage, frankincense, geranium, grapefruit, lavender, and lemon essential oils.   Tangerine essential oil is used to soothe stress and may assist in reducing the appearance of stretch marks.  To minimise oxidative degradation it is recommended that you store your tangerine in a refrigerator at 2-8degC, in a dark airtight container.  Skin sensitization may occur with exposure to old or oxidised tangerine, and other oils.
