Cananga odorata has an intense, sweet, floral, balsamic aroma with jasmine-like overtones.   This essential oil has antidepressant, and antiseptic, sedative, relaxing, soothing, and powerful aphrodisiac properties .  It has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties, and helps to create a feeling of equilibrium in the body. Its warming, intoxicating scent that blends well with citrus oils, bergamot, clary sage, lavender, mandarin, orange and sandalwood.  To avoid headaches or sensitisation, it is recommended to use this oil in concentrations of 1% or less.
