Myrtus communus pure essential oil has a warm rich lemony fragrance. It has powerful germicide and antibacterial properties, and is proven to be far more effective than Tea Tree essential oil. It can be combined with other essential oils to create an effective massage blend or can be used in a diffuser to create a fresh-smelling environment. Lemon Myrtle essential oil is non-toxic, but can potentially cause skin irritation in some people. It is not to be taken internally. This oil blends well with bergamot, all of the eucalyptus oils, frankincense, geranium, lavender, mandarin, lemon, neroli, peppermint, sweet orange, rosemary, tea tree and sandalwood. Use sparingly as its intense lemony scent can overpower the blend.
