Pelargonium graveolens has a herbaceous, green, sweet floral scent.  It has mild antibacterial, and mild anti-fungal properties and is a very good tonic astringent for the skin.  It is inhaled as a relaxant and anti-inflammatory.   Geranium oil is indicated for many woman's reproductive system conditions as an inhalant and massage application.  It is also indicated for problems of the nervous system such as anxiety, agitation and nervous fatigue.  Geranium blends well with citrus essences, black pepper, clary sage, clove, jasmine, juniper berry, lavender, lemon, marjoram rose, rosemary, sandalwood and vetiver.
