Juniperus communus oil is a refreshing and detoxifying oil.  Its sharp fragrance with woody, spicy, herbal undertones makes it an uplifting addition to aromatherapy blends.  Juniper acts as a stimulant to the body's circulation so it is useful for treating rheumatic conditions, gout, hemorrhoids, nervous tension, PMS, stress, and other aches and pains. It is also indicated for bronchitis due to its expectorant and antiseptic properties.

Juniper's clear, fresh spicy aroma blends well with citrus oils, cedarwood, cypress, frankincense, geranium, lavender, rosemary and sandalwood.  Juniper should be avoided during pregnancy and is not suitable for babies and infants.  Avoid use if suffering kidney disease.
