Citrus aurantium essential oil is steam distilled from the fragrant flowering blossom of the orange tree Citrus aurantium.  Neroli essential oil has a complex, intense sweet, floral, spicy citrus-like aroma. It blends well with many other essential oils including chamomile, clary sage, frankincense, geranium, grapefruit, juniper, mandarin and palmarosa. 

Neroli may be used to calm and relax the mind and body.  When inhaled it is anti-depressant and a mild sedative.  It may be used at night to ease insomnia.  Neroli promotes joyous and uplifting feelings.  Externally is is an excellent oil for oily or dry skin, it is a facial softener and is frequently used in perfumery.
