At Essential Essence Aromatherapy Oils, we believe in creating high-quality essential oils, hydrosols and cosmetics that are both affordable and eco-friendly. Our journey began in 2011 when our founder realised the lack of options for consumers looking for affordable and sustainable essential oils that were not sold by MLM companies. Today, we are proud to offer a wide range of products that are made with our essential oils and other natural ingredients at wholesale prices.
Jacinta is a passionate research scientist who has spent many years developing manufacturing processes to make much needed anti-cancer, anti-viral and antibiotic pharmaceuticals. She has also assisted with the manufacture of medical devices which were used as diagnostic tool during the pandemic, and has also been actively involved the production of vitamins, minerals and complementary medicines. These medicines are critical to supporting recovery of patients with different health conditions, and they also help to build resistance to disease and infection.
Whilst working in these other industries she decided to also use her scientific expertise to research and produce her own essential oils, hydrosols and natural remedies to support health and well-being. She created her own brand because she wanted to make products which would help others to naturally overcome pain, skin conditions and emotional issues in their lives without having to worry about the deleterious side effects that often accompany the use of many ingredients commonly used in western medicine.
A point of difference between Essential Essence Aromatherapy oils is that we produce many of our own essential oils in-house. We do this using the traditional methods of steam and hydro-distillation. Although the process of obtaining aromatic plants for distillation is very labor intensive, the results are well worth it! The raw materials for everything that is distilled are sourced locally, from back-yards and farms where no pesticides are used. Aromatic plant parts are sustainably obtained to ensure minimal damage to the plant and its environment.
An important aspect of working with essential oils is knowing the correct amounts of essential oils which can be incorporated into products. International Fragrance Association (IFRA) guidelines are used to assist with determining the input rates of essential oils in our different types of products. Many other resources are used to ensure product ingredients have a low irritancy profile and suit their intended end use. All cosmetic and personal care products are laboratory tested in-house before being launched for sale.
Essential Essence Aromatherapy Oil Products are now sold in T&S Emporium in Somerville,, Monbulk Emporium in Monbulk, Bowerbird Art and Craft in Neerim South, and Emporium 3630 in Shepparton. Pick up by appointment is also available from our head office in Carrum Downs. We offer a flat rate of $10 delivery to any location in Australia. International delivery rates are available on request.
